It started with a question — what would 10,000 pairs of baby shoes look like? Minnesota, commonly known as the Land of 10,000 Lakes, has been averaging 10,000 abortions a year. This number is hard to visualize or imagine. Following the leading of the Spirit, we are gathering 10,000 pairs of baby shoes to display in a public location. We invite Minnesotans to come, take in the impact of 10,000 lives lost a year, and then pray in repentance. May we be 10,000 no more!
Status
We are currently gathering shoes! We are looking for any pairs of baby shoes, from sizes that fit an infant through about a year and a half (around size 7). The primary requirement is that they visually look like a pair of baby shoes when sitting on a shelf, so we want things that are more solid than collapsible booties.
